71 new corona positive patients were confirmed in the report received late Wednesday in Bokaro. The figure has come after the special testing drive at the district level. It has been confirmed that every one thousand people, 50 are corona positive. In the three-day campaign, 867 people were screened using the rapid antigen kit. In which 50 were found to be corona positive. 15 positive cases were found in the 380 True Nat tests conducted. 5 persons were reported to be positive in RTPCR reports from Dhanbad and 1 from Durgapur. All are being admitted to the Corona Care Centre. So far, there are 210 active cases in the district. A total of 370 positive corona cases have been reported in the district so far. Out of these, 158 people have recovered completely and returned home. While two corona positive patients have died due to the disease. Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Singh has expressed concern over such a large number of positive cases and appealed to the residents to stay in their home and to always adhere to the guidelines issued by the Government. He stressed that it is mandatory to wear masks and adhere to the social distance rules.

The patients from Bokaro Steel City include a 51-year-old female from Sector-4/D, a 31-year-old female from Sector-6/B, a 32-year-old male from Sector-1, a 27-year-old female from Sector-12/B, a 28-year-old from Sector-9 Ranipokhar, a 35-year-old male from Dundibagh near Sector-12, a 48-year-old male from Sector-12 Barrack, a 49-year-old from Dundibagh, a 43-year-old male, Sector-1/B, a 30-year-old male from Ranipokhar, Sector-9, a 24-year-old female from Sector-12, a 32-year-old male from Sector-1, a 46-year-old male from Sector-9/D, a 38-year-old female from Sector-2/D, a 51-year-old male from CISF comp, a 28-year-old male from CISF unit. From Gomia Camp patients include a 50-year-old male, 27-year-old male, 33-year-old male, 25-year-old male, 42-year-old male, 22-year-old male, 27-year-old male, 28-year-old male, including a 07-year-old (male) child. Patients from Baru include 55-year-old woman, 11-year-old boy, 14-year-old boy, 34-year-old female, 18-year-old male, 32-year-old male, a 45-year-old male. Similarly, patients from the Bermo Camp include a 60-year-old female, 64-year-old male, 14-year-old child, 35-year-old female, 19-year-old female, 59-year-old male, 38-year-old male and a 30-year-old male.
In news from the state, 22 more staff from the chief minister’s residence were found to be corona positive on Wednesday. Three days ago, 19 employees were found positive. CM Hemant Soren and his wife were tested and they reported negative for the infection. On Wednesday, 818 new cases of corona were reported in the state. 291 positive cases were found in Godda, 139 in Ranchi, 71 in Bokaro, 51 in Palamu, 33 in Pakur, 29 in West Singhbhum, 27 in Khunti, 26 in Dumka, 25 in Sahibganj, 21 in Hazaribagh, 17 in Simdega, 16 in Garhwa, 12 in Gumla, 8 in Saraikela, 6 each in Koderma and Dhanbad, 5 in Giridih, 4 cases each in Chatra and Lohardaga. The number of patients active in the state has increased to 9,177 after identification of new patients. The total cases of Corona have gone up to 14,580. However, 5242 patients have also recovered completely and returned home. So far 161 corona patients have lost their lives in the state.
