Due to the condition created by countrywide lockdown to fight Covid-19, families of daily wage labourers are struggling to arrange food and are moving towards dying from starvation. Central Government, State Governments and a lot of social institutions are regularly distributing food and ration among them. In the same order, to fulfil their obligations and commitment towards society, Bank Of India Officers Association, Jharkhand State Unit, Bokaro Zone members distributed ration to 150 families today, 31st May, in community centres in New Co-operative, Chira Chas. The needy families from Demudih Basti, Tumuk Tand, Gandajor, Fudnidi were given one week ration each. Adherence to social distancing was observed during distribution.
Shri Dhananjay Kumar, Zonal Manager, Bank Of India, Bokaro Zone distributed ration among the poor and advised them to maintain social distancing and wear masks. He also stressed on the need to keep surroundings clean and maintaining personal hygiene. Shri Rajesh Kumar Sinha, Assistant Secretary, Bank Of India Officers Association, Jharkhand State Unit, Bokaro Zone informed people to stay at home to avoid getting infected with corona and to go out only if absolutely necessary, wear masks or towels while going out, observe social distancing and clean hands regularly at intervals of 2 hours. With Unlock-1 starting from tomorrow, all steps have still to be kept in mind and assist the government in their effort to restore normalcy into the lives by following government orders and advice strictly.
Amar Kumar, Raj Kumar, Uday Kumar, Rajiv Kumar Sinha, Gopal Kumar, Ranjan Kumar, Subodh Kumar, Amit Kumar, Rahul Harit, Vijay Raut, Sandeep Kumar, Vikash Kumar were also present. Among locals, Shri Vijay Sharma, P C Sharma, Rajesh Gujjar offered immense help and support.
