A blood donation camp was organized by Bokaro Blood Donors Association in collaboration with Manav Seva Sansthan at Red Cross Blood Bank Bokaro today. A total of 25 units of blood was collected in the camp.
The camp’s organizing lead Harbans Singh Saluja said that within a month, this is the fourth blood donation camp organized by him. It is noteworthy that blood man Harbans Singh Saluja is regularly organizing and donating blood in different blood banks even during lockdown.
Harbans Singh Saluja informed that in this time when the whole country is in a state of panic due to Corona epidemic, more than 300 units of blood have been donated by them. President of Manav Seva Sansthan, Shri Naresh Prasad Singh Ji said that taking view of the lack of blood in the blood bank, their institution decided to donate blood and the camp was organized after contacting Mr Saluja.
There was commendable support and help from the entire Red Cross team including Dr Mohanty, Dr Verma, Rajkumar. From the organization, Sanjay Sharma, Gurvinder Singh Sainki, Manish Charan Pahadi, Jai Prakash Singh and Jai Prakash Bauri were among the present members. Mr Saluja thanked all the blood donors at the end of the camp.
