Three new corona infection cases were confirmed in Bokaro late night on Thursday. All three were sent to BGH on Friday. One of them is a 45-year-old Tara Nagar colony resident from Chas, who recently returned from Mumbai. He was already in home quarantine after returning from Mumbai. Samples were collected from six other members of his family and all of them were sent to the government quarantine centre.
The man from Taranagar was an auto driver in Mumbai. With corona infection increasing in Mumbai, he secured e-pass, started the journey from Mumbai to Bokaro and reached Bokaro by auto in six days. He underwent health check-up and report came positive on Thursday night. His entire house and adjoining roads were also sanitized. The auto he used to come to Bokaro was also sanitized.
Additional Municipal Commissioner of Chas Municipal Corporation, Shri Shashi Prakash Jha inspected Surya Ghat and other places along with the concerned ward councillor, Divyarthi Organisation and a team of ex-servicemen in wards number 11 and 23 of Chas Municipal Corporation area.
Sanitization was done and bleaching powder was sprayed by BSL management, YASH we for U institution and Chas Municipal Corporation from Garga bridge check post to Mahavir Chowk including Ward No. 13, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25 and 26 of Chas Municipal Corporation area. Sanitization was also done in the commercial zone from Mahavir Chowk to ward number 27 and ward 28.
