People in Chas Municipal Council will not have to worry about running around to get birth and death certificates made. Software and processes have now been improved to provide relief to people facing difficulties in getting birth and death certificates during lockdown.
More than 500 requests that came in during lockdown are still pending. People will be benefited once the new system starts. On filing an application within 21 days of birth or death, certificates would be issued by the municipal council within 7 days. Additional municipal commissioner Shashi Prakash Jha informed that new guidelines are being promoted keeping the social distancing rules in mind. All schemes of the department will use new techniques and software. People will not have to come to offices to get birth or death certificates or for other work as all tasks will be monitored online.
Fight against Coronavirus is also making municipal corporations work faster. Along with online awareness campaigns on social distancing, mask and other measures against Coronavirus, all other schemes and pending projects are being restarted. All projects are being tracked online.
