People arriving in Bokaro from 24 red zone districts will have to mandatorily take corona test. The migrants would be kept in quarantine centre till the sample results are received. If the report comes as corona positive, they would be admitted in Covid-19 hospital. If the reports come negative, they would be asked to undergo home quarantine.
The 24 districts are West Bengal: Howrah, Kolkata, 24 Parganas, Andhra Pradesh: Kurnool, Guntur, Krishna, Delhi: New Delhi, Gujrat: Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Gandhinagar, Haryana: Faridabad, Karnataka: Bengaluru, Madhya Pradesh: Indore, Bhopal, Ujjain, Maharashtra: Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Punjab: Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Rajasthan: Jaipur, Tamil Nadu: Chennai, Telangana: Hyderabad.
On orders of Bokaro DC Shri Mukesh Kumar, check posts have been set up in all blocks in the district with police officers and administration keeping a strict watch. Special emphasis is being given to check posts on national highways. Vehicles coming via NH are being examined and all details are being collected.
Migrants coming on foot or on cycles are being reported by all check posts and control centre is being notified. District administration is trying to assist them in every possible way and making arrangements to take them to their destination districts. All the migrants are being given food and taken to their destinations via buses arranged by the district administration
